New acne treatment

I have switched dermatologist which means I have a new treatment plan. My am routine includes washing, treating, and moisturizing. My pm routine includes the same plus a oral tablet and to continue on my birth control pills. Here is a picture of my products.

  1. Okay thanks girl!! My derm actually gave me cortisone shots on my scalp so hopefully that helps out with the process. Best of luck to you & looking forward to your email..

  2. Hi! I really hope you see this & reply. I’m on absorica and I have experienced hair loss in the same places I saw that you did. I’m also a black girl with natural hair. It’s been working for me but I’m really considering stopping it because I don’t know if my hair will grow back. I feel like my derm just wants me to finish treatment & she keeps saying it will grow back but the topical steroids she gave me are not working. Did your hair grow back in fully when you quit the treatment?

    • Hi Abby. Thanks for reaching out. The hair on my left temple side has grown back fully. The hair on my right temple side has grown back but it is very sparse. If you like I can send you a couple of pictures. I would just need your email address.

  3. I’m not a fan of Cetaphil, it has SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) which I read is an irritant for a lot of people. I switched to Cerave instead. Much better product in my opinion. Then again, every skin is different.
I hope this works for you!
